‘Tis the season to be jolly, and here at Piccolo, we’re doing our bit to help spread a little extra festive cheer this year for families across London.
As parents, we often have a lot on our plates during Christmas (not just the one on our tables on Christmas Day), which is why we’re proud to be teaming up with Little Village, a London-based charity that helps provide much-needed donations and resources to families across the city who need it most.
Little Village aims to tackle childhood poverty in London, so we will be making an annual donation to the charity as they provide vital support services for families this holiday season and through to next year.
Little Village are powered by an incredible network of over 380 volunteers who together have given 10,000 hours of support in 2019.
About Little Village
Little Village is like a foodbank, but for clothes, toys and equipment for babies and children up to the age of five to ensure that children from across the area have their basic needs met. They make it as easy as possible for families to help one another and promote sustainable living. The charity has three sites in Kings Cross, Balham and Peckham, and has served families from 29 of London’s 31 boroughs from these sites.
