Mediterranean roots

Our founder Cat enjoyed a varied diet from a young age, and her family mealtimes were a time for gathering together around the kitchen table, sharing both food and experiences.

Charitable Beginnings

Cat started her career in the charity sector campaigning for ethically sourced, natural produce & helping families give their children the best start to a positive relationship with food.

Piccolo is born

After having her own daughter Juliet in 2015 Cat founded Piccolo in the belief that it is possible to create organic, nutritious wholesome food for children with sustainability at it’s heart.

three heads are better than one

Cat partnered up with her co-founders Alice Fotheringham – infant nutritional specialist – and Kane O’Flaherty – creative director – to develop Piccolo’s recipes and design.
