Coronation Chicken

A meal fit for all the little kings and queens out there, this recipe is great for introducing new tastes and textures to your little one while also providing important nutrients for their growth (and 50 more rounds of peek-a-boo).

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp tomato purée
  • 1tsp mild curry powder
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 100ml Piccolo Chicken Stock
  • Pinch mixed spice
  • 100ml double cream
  • 1 tbsp mango chutney
  • 30g sultanas (optional for 12+ months)
  • Handful of coriander
  • Handful flaked almonds


  • Chop 2 chicken breasts and add to an oiled pan on a medium heat
  • Add to the pan your tomato purée, mild curry powder, 1 clove of minced garlic, 100ml of chicken stock and 100ml of double cream
  • Let this simmer for 10 minutes
  • If your baby is 6+ months take a portion out and blend until smooth, you can also add rice to the blended mixture
  • For the rest of the family, add in your mango chutney, sultanas, chopped coriander and sprinkle with almonds
  • Serve up with rice and/or naan bread!
