Salmon Poke Bowl 

It’s time to dish on seriously tasty recipe both you and baby can enjoy together. With a simple piece of salmon and some mixed vibrant veggies, your teatime dribbler will for ‘shore’ be gargling for more. Plus, it’s packed with Omega-3 and healthy fats.

Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1tsp reduced salt soy sauce
  • ½ lime
  • 2-4 tbsp cooked white rice
  • Handful of sugar snap peas
  • 1 carrot
  • 3-inch piece of cucumber
  • Sprinkle of sesame seeds

Method

  • Chop your salmon into cubes and season with some fresh lime, sesame oil and reduced salt soy sauce
  • Pop onto an oven try lined with tin foil and drizzle any leftover marinade on top
  • Bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes
  • Cook your rice as preferred and add to a bowl as the base of your Poke Bowl
  • Load with your favourite veggies (we used sugar snap peas, carrot and cucumber, but other vegetables like avocado are also a great addition)
  • Add your salmon on top with any leftover juices and add a squeeze of lime and sprinkle of sesame seeds
  • Important: Sesame can be a common allergy, so make sure you have introduced this appropriately before serving in larger quantities in meals
