These mini shells or “conchigliette” take their name from the Italian word for seashell (conchiglie). Their shape enables them to pick up even more delicious sauce, and our coloured variety have tomato & spinach added to give them their varied colours.

Baby loves it My baby had the Annabel Karmel tiny pasta shells from 7m which she loved but now that she's 1 I thought I'd try these. They're much bigger shells but she managed well either with her hands or one or two shells on a spoon or a fork.

A hit! Good quality pasta. Held its shape and texture and a hit with the kids. What is not to love! I have also used this in vegetable soup which worked well.
