The Piccolo Mango

sourcing location

This tropical fruit also comes from the same family as pistachios and cashew nut trees, and is grown in tropical climates. Our mangoes come from Latin America from countries such as Guatemala and Ecuador, with a long history of harvesting this amazing fruit.

  • FROM THE KITCHEN

Mangoes need to be ripe which means they need to give a little when you squeeze them, like an avocado. To ripen further place in a brown paper bag. Mangoes are delicious on their own and they make great (if extremely messy) finger food.

  • NUTRITIONAL NUGGET

Mango is rich in vitamins and minerals. An excellent source of vitamin A, which has antioxidant properties and is good for your vision.

  • FUN
    FACT

A mango tree can grow as tall as 100 feet! Legend says that Buddha meditated under the cool shade of a mango tree.
