Our family farms growing leeks in France have long known about their subtle delicious flavour. Our leeks have a savoury sweet aroma and flavour without the pungency of other ingredients from the same family (onions).

  • FROM THE KITCHEN

    Leeks are a wonderful source of pre-biotics, which feed the beneficial bacteria in all of our tummies. Delicious cooked in a little butter by themselves, or mixed with peas. They need to be thoroughly cooked and soft for little ones as they can be quite stringy and harder to eat if not pureed.

  • NUTRITIONAL NUGGET

    Leeks are an excellent source of vitamin K - absolutely essential to building strong bones and preventing heart disease. They are also a very good source of manganese, vitamin B6, and vitamin C.

    Leeks have been cultivated since the time of the Ancient Egyptians and were probably part of the diet of those who built the pyramids.
