Our courgettes are sourced predominantly in France; the name courgette even stems from a French word in the 1930’s when describing a young gourd (the big marrows that courgettes grow into).
Sautéed cubes, spiralized, baked in cakes and muffins, ribboned in salads, hidden in sauces, pickled, and even used as a pizza base – you can do pretty much anything with these versatile vegetables!
Courgettes have a very high water content and contain potassium, carotenes and vitamin C.
A courgette has more potassium than a banana.
