To celebrate Piccolo’s launch into Morrisons, we took a tour of the country’s fruit and veg aisles and encouraged parents to get their little ones excited about eating healthily.
Throughout June and July, we teamed up with our friends at Hartbeeps to hide their magical puppets amongst the cabbages, carrots and cauliflower and show kids (and their parents) that eating well can be fun too.
We visited Morrisons supermarkets from East Kilbride to Camden and invited local parents to weaning workshops with Alice, our brilliant infant nutrition specialist. Alice shared lots of information, top tips and busted lots of myths around weaning babies and feeding little ones through teaching families about introducing new foods, responsive feeding and getting children to eat a wide variety of healthy foods from an early age.
At Piccolo we know how stressful weaning can be, so we want to help wherever we can and it was such fun to meet all the local parents and get to know their brilliant babies. And for those of you who weren’t able to make one of our sessions, you can take a look at our video here or ask Alice a question by emailing her at Hello@piccolofoods.uk
We will also be announcing the lucky winner of our Mediterranean suitcase filled with delicious Piccolo pouches and other treats this week
We’re planning on coming to lots more supermarkets around the country so if you missed out on the fun, stay tuned for plenty more upcoming events on our Facebook events page.
