Berries, pear and banana is bound to delight. We haven’t found a kid yet who doesn’t love this fresh and fruity combination. Plus, it’s a no-cook dish — hello, time-saver. But we’re on a taste adventure that journeys far beyond the sweet and juicy. Combine kale and kiwi with peas and pear to slip the sharp-flavoured kiwi into their diet because by itself it might be a little too zingy for a young tongue. Celeriac and sweetcorn will further expand their palette and bring out the little food critic in them yet. Just click on each recipe below to be brought straight to the simple recipe page.
This fruity puree requires no cooking and is a delicious combination of zingy fresh berries with smooth banana and pear. Tip: Add yoghurt or milk and a sprinkling of oats or seeds to the blender to make this into a delicious creamy smoothie.
Sweetcorn can have a bit of a grainy texture, so make sure to blend thoroughly. Celeriac is the root of the celery leaf, so please be mindful if there are any celery allergies in the family.
